This vintage hard to find U.S. Navy china, also known as Navy Anchor China, measures approximately 7 3/8" x 4 3/4" x 1" and is in near perfect condition with no chips cracks or crazing. Typically used for pickles, relish, celery or butter this dish features a glazed white finish with a deep cobalt blue band and fouled anchor that really stands out against the white china. The bottom of the dish displays the trademark SHENENGO CHINA NEWCASTLE, PA. Above the company name is an image of a Native American Indian decorating a piece of pottery. A simple yet elegant piece of china not often encountered.
