  • Unmarked SA EM/NCO'S Buckle With Excellent Leather Belt

There is only 1 item left in stock.

This very nice buckle and belt came as a set. I was surprised at the tiny sized waist the individual who wore it must have had! Overall the belt itself is 35 1/2" long by 1 3/4" wide and features 7 pairs of holes on the adjustment tongue along with the stampings "CROUPON" and the number "372". The leather itself is a very nice quality and retains most all of its deep chocolate colored finish and the Nickle finished clasp is intact and quite secure with no loose hardware.

The buckle itself is unmarked brass with the separately attached Roundel, and is the two-piece construction buckle having a nickel/silver plated face plate. The buckle obverse has a plain nickel/silver field with an embossed, political-style national eagle clutching the laurel surround of a mobile swastika. Although there is a good bit of original wear, the detail is still highly visible; and, the oakleaves, acorns, and feathers on the Adler's wings are exceptional!

The reverse of the buckle has the correct two solder points for the Roundel and the half moon shaped receiver for the clasp is symmetrical and well formed. Both belt prongs are straight and are mounted in the silvered type mount.

A really nice example of a historic belt rig in wonderful condition, especially the leather!
