Original Militaria And Curios From All Periods
  • WWII Army Air Force TYPE B-1 Flight Crew pants by Western Lea. Clothing Co.

Very nice set of WWII Army Air Force TYPE B-1 Flight Crew pants. These pants were worn with the B-3 flight jacket by bomber crews that operated at high altitudes. Manufacturer's tag indicates that these are size medium and made by the Western Lea. Clo. Co. Spec. No. 94-3085 ORDER No. (535) 42-22265-A. The leather is still quite supple, strong, and a beautiful brown color with very little flaking. There is one small circle shaped tear just above one knee. The shearling is full and quite nice with some wear and light soiling. The thick fleece lined pants also have the original black and tan two-toned suspenders, which are all complete with leather straps and buckles. Three original Conmar U.S.A. marked zippers are all present and complete with pull tabs.

Overall a super nice set that was "There" and luckily made it "Back Home". Would go great with a jacket for an Army Air Corps Display.
